AAP Leader Questions BJP’s Guest List for Ayodhya Ram Temple Consecration; PM Modi Urges Social Media Celebration
The upcoming ‘Pran Prathista’ ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has sparked a political discourse, with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi health minister Saurabh Bhardwaj raising concerns over the guest list. Bhardwaj’s questioning follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent appeal to ‘140 crore countrymen’ to refrain from attending the consecration ceremony on January 22.
Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj voiced his opinion, stating, “The Ram Temple belongs to the whole country. Who is BJP to decide who to invite and who to leave out? People will go whenever they want to…”
In a parallel development, Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Ayodhya included the inauguration of a redeveloped railway station, the unveiling of a newly-built airport, and the laying of the foundation stone for various projects in Uttar Pradesh. During a public rally in Ayodhya, Modi highlighted the global anticipation for the historic Ram Temple consecration on January 22. He urged citizens to illuminate their homes with special diyas, treating the day of ‘pran pratishtha’ as a celebration akin to ‘Deepawali.’
Acknowledging the nationwide excitement surrounding the Ram Temple, Prime Minister Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast, encouraged people to share their creative expressions, particularly ‘bhajans’ related to the event, on social media using the hashtag ‘Shri Ram Bhajan.’ Modi envisioned this compilation as a manifestation of emotions and devotion, embodying the ethos of Lord Ram.
In his broadcast, Modi highlighted the surge of creativity, with both seasoned and emerging young artists composing heartwarming bhajans. He emphasized the diverse ways in which people across the country are expressing their sentiments towards the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
