Ayodhya’s Shabari Rasoi Faces Backlash for Alleged Overcharging, Ayodhya Development Authority Issues Notice

Ayodhya, the focal point of global attention for the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, is now in the spotlight for a controversy surrounding Shabari Rasoi, a newly-opened restaurant.

The eatery faced criticism after a bill circulated on social media, revealing a charge of Rs 252 for a cup of tea and slices of toast. The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has issued a show-cause notice to Shabari Rasoi, situated in the Arundhati Bhawan complex, for allegedly violating the agreed-upon rates.

ADA warns of contract cancellation if a satisfactory clarification is not provided within three days. The restaurant, under scrutiny, claims the viral bill is part of a conspiracy, asserting they offer facilities at reasonable rates.
