Camila Cabello Teases Exciting Ventures and New Music for 2024

In a series of candid Instagram Story posts on Thursday (Dec. 28), 26-year-old pop sensation Camila Cabello shared glimpses of her reflections on 2023 and hinted at something special brewing for the coming year. Accompanying a snapshot of herself seemingly immersed in a recording session, she captioned, “mostly the year of this,” leaving fans eagerly anticipating what musical magic she has in store.

Signing off with a bold statement, Cabello added, “see you next year b-tches,” accompanied by a playful mouth-zipped-shut emoji. Another intriguing post featured a Polaroid image resting on a soundboard, showcasing two collaborators, as she declared, “the year of the band.”

The former Fifth Harmony member, known for her chart-topping hits, hasn’t released a full album since her April 2022 LP “Familia,” which soared to No. 10 on the Billboard 200. The record boasted successful singles like “Don’t Go Yet” and “Bam Bam” with Ed Sheeran, peaking at Nos. 42 and No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

While she took a brief album hiatus, Cabello lent her voice to the Trolls Band Together soundtrack, contributing to the animated film in which she played the character Viva. One notable collaboration on the soundtrack includes “It Takes Two,” where Cabello joins voices with Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake.

Recently making headlines for her Turks & Caicos vacation with Drake, where they were seen enjoying each other’s company on a boat and jet skiing together, Cabello continues to capture attention on both personal and professional fronts.

Fortunately for music enthusiasts, Cabello joins a roster of artists set to unveil new material in 2024. With Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Kanye West x Ty Dolla $ign, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, and more gearing up for album releases, the music scene is poised for an exciting year ahead.
