Container Corporation Volumes Grow in Q3, Shares Open Flat

Shares of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) opened flat on January 12, one day after the company reported an 8.25 percent year-on-year increase in third quarter EXIM volumes and a 1.25 percent year-on-year decline in domestic volumes.

As of 9:46am on Friday, CONCOR shares were trading 1.22 percent lower at ₹891.80. In a regulatory filing on January 11, CONCOR said its total volumes grew 6.05 percent in the December 2023 quarter to 1,150,808 TEUs (twenty feet equivalent units). Export-import volumes were up 8.25 percent to 902,582 TEUs while domestic volumes fell 1.25 percent to 248,226 TEUs compared to the same quarter last year.
