Delhi Police Seek Lucknow Help to Trace Cobbler Involved in Parliament Security Breach
Delhi Police have sought assistance from Lucknow authorities to locate a “cyclist cobbler” involved in the Parliament security breach case.
The cobbler modified the shoes of accused Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D to accommodate smoke canisters. Delhi Police intend to make the cobbler a witness in the case and previously visited Lucknow to find him without success.
The accused attempted to breach security on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack by entering the Lok Sabha chamber, releasing smoke, and shouting slogans. The cobbler, who visited Alambagh on a bicycle, played a crucial role in adapting the shoes for the security breach, according to police sources.
