IndiGo ‘grounds’ passengers due to delay in flight

IndiGo apologizes after passengers of a Goa to Delhi flight were delayed for nearly 18 hours on January 14 and later diverted to Mumbai due to low visibility conditions in Delhi.
Passengers were seen having dinner on the runway sitting next to the IndiGo aircraft. The flight was scheduled to depart from Goa or Delhi at around 9:15 am on January 14 (Sunday), but took off in the evening and landed in Mumbai at 5:12 am on January 15 (Monday).
And we thought this would only happen at a railway station. Passengers of IndiGo Goa-Delhi who after 12 hours delayed flight got diverted to Mumbai having dinner just next to the Indigo plane (by the way, most of our railway stations seem to be smarter than ever before!) 😊👍 pic.twitter.com/bjFFMMd76n
