Maharashtra Gains Investor Favor, CM Shinde Highlights Achievements

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde emphasized Maharashtra’s status as a favored investment destination, attributing it to the state’s favorable business climate during a New Year’s blood donation camp.

Participating in the midnight event, CM Shinde not only acknowledged the global impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission but also praised the success of a comprehensive cleaning initiative undertaken in Mumbai and extended throughout the state.

Highlighting the state’s commitment to economic partnerships, Shinde noted the successful execution of 85% of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) from the Davos meet in 2023.

“Maharashtra has become a preferred destination for investments from various countries,” he affirmed.

Underscoring the government’s dedication to public welfare, Shinde disclosed that the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund has extended over Rs 165 crore in aid to more than 20,000 individuals since assuming office, a substantial increase from previous disbursements of Rs 2 to 3 crore.

Additionally, Shinde commended the tangible results of the deep cleaning drive, a pivotal facet of the Swachh Bharat campaign, noting its extension to various regions of the state. Over one lakh individuals actively participated in the cleanliness drive across ten different Mumbai locations on Sunday, illustrating widespread community engagement.

Expressing the government’s commitment to a clean, green, and healthy Mumbai, CM Shinde hailed blood donation as a noble gift, lauding the collective efforts of those contributing to the cause.
