The inauguration ceremony was followed by the departure of IndiGo’s first flight from Delhi to Ayodhya, led by Captain Ashutosh Shekhar.

Expressing pride in commanding this significant flight, Captain Shekhar addressed the passengers, highlighting the importance of the occasion. “It’s a matter of pride for me that IndiGo has given me the command of this important flight. It’s a matter of joy for Indigo and us. We hope your journey with us is safe and sound,” he stated.
