New Year Alert: Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Enforces Strict Measures for New Year Celebrations

In anticipation of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebrations, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has implemented stringent measures to ensure public safety. Under CrPC section 144, the police have prohibited the assembly of five or more people in Noida and Greater Noida during December 31 and January 1. Additionally, unauthorized processions, public religious prayers, and the consumption of alcohol in public places have been strictly banned.

As part of these measures, the use of private drones within a one-kilometer radius of government establishments is entirely prohibited for the specified period. Even in other areas, individuals must seek police permission for drone usage, as outlined in the issued order by the police commissionerate. The festivities, including New Year’s Eve and various planned programs and demonstrations, are expected to take place during this period.

The police emphasized the need for these precautionary measures due to the potential for anti-social elements to disrupt peace. To prevent any adverse situations, appropriate arrangements have been made, and the police are vigilant against any mischievous activities that could disturb the peace and harmony in the Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate. Violation of these prohibitory measures is deemed a punishable offense, underscoring the seriousness with which the authorities are approaching public safety during the New Year celebrations.
