Samsung Expands Interactive Display Solutions with AI-Driven Education Tools at ISTELive 26
Samsung Electronics has unveiled a suite of advanced educational tools for its Android-based Interactive Display product line at ISTELive 26, one of the premier events in educational technology hosted by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) from June 28 to July 1 in Orlando, Florida. These solutions are aimed at enhancing classroom personalization and management, aligning with Samsung’s commitment to providing practical digital learning environments.
Personalization through Samsung AMS
The Samsung Account Management Solution (AMS) introduces a streamlined experience for shared classroom displays, facilitating personalized access for multiple educators. By employing a QR code or NFC-enabled ID card, teachers can access their accounts, which allows for cloud-connected profiles. This ensures consistent access to personalized settings, such as layout and app shortcuts, across different classrooms.
Samsung AMS also enhances security by enabling teachers to activate screen locks instantly when away from the classroom. Additionally, the Samsung Education Portal provides IT managers with a centralized platform for managing users and devices, including the ability to control account access and implement emergency alerts through major notification platforms.
AI-Driven Teaching Tools
Samsung’s AI Assistant enhances the teaching experience with tools aimed at improving student engagement and comprehension. It includes features such as Circle to Search, which allows educators to find related multimedia content seamlessly during lessons, and Live Transcript, which converts spoken language into real-time text for accessibility.
The AI Assistant also incorporates AI Summary and AI Quiz functionalities, enabling real-time comprehension assessment and providing immediate feedback on student performance through an integrated system that utilizes Single Sign-On for ease of access.
Diversifying Classroom Display Options
Samsung’s Interactive Display lineup now includes new models—WAF-S, WAFX-PS, and WAHX-M—that are designed to accommodate a range of classroom settings. With upgrades to Android 16, these displays improve usability and security, enhancing the educational experience. Notably, the WAHX-M model introduces a 98-inch option, suitable for larger educational spaces.
These developments underscore Samsung’s strategic focus on leveraging AI and connectivity to create flexible and effective educational environments. The full range of these solutions is expected to be available from July, expanding on the current capabilities of Samsung’s Interactive Display offerings.
