UGRO Capital Secures Rs 250 Crore Funding from Asian Development Bank in Back-to-Back Deals

UGRO Capital, the non-banking finance company (NBFC), has successfully raised Rs 250 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCD) from the Asian Development Bank. This marks the second consecutive day of funding for UGRO Capital, following the equal amount raised in December through NCDs from FMO, a Dutch entrepreneurial development bank.

As of December 2023, UGRO Capital manages assets worth Rs 8,363.8 crore. Over the last five years, the company has garnered a total of Rs 9,137.80 crore in equity and debt from diverse institutional sources. The NBFC has been actively contributing to the credit needs of small businesses, providing financial support to approximately 90,000 enterprises during this period.
