Apraava Energy has secured a 250-MW solar energy project from state-owned NHPC Ltd. The project, acquired through the e-reverse auction mechanism, will have a walk-out tariff of Rs 2.53 per kWh and is scheduled for completion within 24 months.
This is Apraava’s first greenfield solar power project through the auction route, and it will be constructed in Rajasthan, a key state driving renewable energy growth in India. Apraava Energy’s Managing Director, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, expressed excitement about the project, stating, “We are eager to strengthen our solar energy portfolio with this win in Rajasthan, a pivotal state driving the growth of renewable energy in India”
