Leading real estate developer Brigade Group has inked two deals worth over Rs 3,400 crore to expand its presence in Tamil Nadu over the next 3-4 years.
The MoUs were signed during the state’s Global Investors Meet 2024 in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin.
The first, with Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, entails building two high-rise residential towers in Sholinganallur IT hub for Rs 2,000 crore.
The second pact, with Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu, comprises Rs 1,400 crore mixed-use developments across Chennai including Mount Road.
Together, Brigade’s planned commercial and residential projects mark one of the largest real estate investments in Tamil Nadu under the investment summit.
The company said construction on the “high priority” undertakings would be completed within the next 3-4 years, signaling sustained expansion in the state.
