Greater Noida Launches Industrial Plot Scheme, Aims for Rs 5,000 Crore Revenue and 10,000 Jobs
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) announced on Wednesday the launch of a scheme for the allotment of 44 industrial plots, anticipating a substantial revenue of Rs 5,000 crore. Alongside this fiscal boost, the land allotment initiative is expected to create around 10,000 employment opportunities, according to a statement released by GNIDA.
The industrial plots, strategically located in six sectors, cover diverse areas ranging from 135 square meters to 20,354 square meters. GNIDA CEO NG Ravi Kumar emphasized Greater Noida’s burgeoning status as an industrial investment hub and highlighted the scheme’s alignment with the demands and needs of entrepreneurs.
“The scheme has been launched to cater to the demand and need of entrepreneurs. Possession of the plot will be given within the stipulated time. With this, thousands of youngsters will get employment opportunities along with investment in the region,” stated NG Ravi Kumar, underlining the dual impact of job creation and increased investment in the region.
With the allotment of these 44 plots, GNIDA is poised to garner a substantial revenue of around Rs 5,000 crore from the reserve price. The initiative reflects a proactive approach by the industrial development authority to foster economic growth, attract investments, and provide a conducive environment for industrial ventures in Greater Noida.
