Motorola, on Thursday, revealed the appointment of T M Narasimhan as the Managing Director for its Mobile Business Group in India. In this role, Narasimhan will be responsible for overseeing Motorola’s business operations in the country.
As part of its strategic focus on the Indian smartphone market and the aspiration to secure a position among the top three smartphone brands, Motorola has reinforced its leadership team in India with the appointment of TM Narasimhan.
Narasimhan’s extensive background in sales operations, business, and financial planning, with a diverse experience in FMCG and consumer tech organizations such as PepsiCo, Britannia, and Samsung, positions him to contribute significantly to Motorola’s endeavors in the dynamic Indian market. He will report to Prashanth Mani, who will continue to serve as the head of Motorola’s Asia Pacific business.
