Samsung to Debut Comprehensive Gaming Solutions at Gamescom 2026 with Immersive Exhibition
Samsung Electronics will present its expansive gaming ecosystem at Gamescom 2026, held in Cologne, Germany, from August 26-30. The event, recognized as one of the largest global gaming conventions, will feature Samsung’s extensive range of gaming solutions across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
Comprehensive Gaming Ecosystem
Samsung’s 1,090-square-meter exhibition space will operate under the theme ‘#PlaySamsung.’ The display will include gaming monitors, mobile devices, SSDs, and headsets, offering interactive experiences with various popular game titles. Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Brand Center at Samsung Electronics, stated, “In this day and age, gaming goes far beyond the games themselves to encompass high-quality, personalized gaming experiences. Through our integrated ecosystem we’re presenting at Gamescom 2026, Samsung is providing users with a way to take their gaming to the next level.”
Product Highlights and New Releases
Among the key highlights, Samsung will unveil its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup and new portable SSD products, showcasing how its diverse portfolio enhances immersive and connected gaming environments.
Exhibition Zones and Featured Products
The exhibition will be divided into four specific zones: Odyssey Zone, Galaxy Zone, Gaming Hub Zone, and T1 Zone, each designed to spotlight different gaming products and experiences.
- Odyssey Zone: Features include the Odyssey G8, the world’s first 6K gaming monitor, the Odyssey OLED G8 with 4K resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate, and the glass-free 3D gaming monitor, Odyssey 3D. Attendees can experience these monitors with titles like ‘Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4’ and ‘Cyberpunk 2077’. Also showcased are the high-performance 9100 Pro SSD and JBL Quantum 950 headset.
- Galaxy Zone: Highlights Samsung’s mobile gaming capabilities with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The devices are powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, complemented by Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, offering low-latency gaming mode and new portable SSDs. Neural Frame Fusion technology enhances power efficiency and gaming performance.
- Gaming Hub Zone: Demonstrates Samsung Gaming Hub’s direct cloud gaming access through compatible televisions and monitors without a separate console. The Samsung OLED TV and JBL Quantum 650 are key products on display.
- T1 Zone: In collaboration with global esports team T1, visitors can engage with equipment used by League of Legends player “Faker,” Sang-hyeok Lee.
Engagement with Korean PC Café Culture
Samsung plans to recreate the Korean PC café ambiance at Gamescom, incorporating diverse events such as influencer matches and product reveals. A Spatial Signage event will offer glasses-free 3D displays, creating interactive experiences. On August 27-28, the #PlayGalaxy Cup in PUBG Mobile will be contested among elite global teams. The stage will also feature gaming influencer matches and interactive programs.
Global Promotions
Special promotions aligned with Gamescom 2026 will be accessible on Samsung’s websites across 22 key markets, including Europe, North America, and Asia, offering region-specific deals and promotions.
