Techno Electric & Engineering Hits 52-Week High with Rs 1,750 Crore Orders
Techno Electric & Engineering Company witnessed a surge of nearly 4 percent, touching a 52-week high in early trade on December 29, following the announcement of orders amounting to Rs 1,750 crore. The transmission orders include a significant Rs 709 crore transmission order, encompassing a 765kV AIS Package for Neemrana-II from Sterlite (valued at Rs 199 crore) and a 765kV AIS Substation Package for the establishment of 765,400 kV, 2×1500 MVA at Sikar from PGCIL (worth Rs 223 crore). Additionally, substation packages for 765/400 kV Dausa and the extension of 765 kV Beawar from PGCIL are valued at Rs 288 crore.
In the Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) segment, the company secured a Rs 1,041 crore order from RECPDCL for 7.27 Lakh Smart Meters in Kashmir on a DBFOOT basis.
Notably, in November, Techno Electric & Engineering Company and Keppel Data Centres (India) Private Limited inked a non-binding agreement, exploring potential collaboration for a greenfield development of a data centre campus in India. Over the last year, the company’s share price witnessed an impressive surge of 153 percent.
