The first look and initial impressions of the Galaxy S24 series, experienced prior to the Unpacked event, provide insights into the notable features of each device.
The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts a titanium build with a flat display, a departure from previous models, and a sleek glass back with a satin finish. Introducing Corning Gorilla Armor for enhanced durability and reduced reflection, the device promises a distinctive feel. Notably, it features a built-in S Pen stylus, a 6.8-inch QHD+Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ continue the rounded design trend with slimmer bezels. Displaying a 6.2-inch FHD+ and 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X respectively, both models feature the Exynos 2400 chipset. The devices house a 50MP main sensor in their triple-camera setup and a 12MP front camera. All Galaxy S24 series devices run on Android 14 with Samsung’s latest OneUI 6.1. Notably, Samsung commits to providing seven years of OS and security updates, aligning with Google’s Pixel 8 series.
