King Charles III Discharged from Hospital after Prostate Procedure

Britain’s King Charles III, aged 75, left the hospital on Monday after undergoing a procedure for an enlarged prostate. Smiling and waving to the public, the King exited the private London Clinic with the Queen by his side. Having spent three nights in the hospital, he was twice visited by the Queen on Sunday. The monarch thanked those involved in his treatment and expressed gratitude for the kind messages received during his hospital stay.
A statement from Buckingham Palace revealed that King Charles III has rescheduled upcoming public engagements for private recuperation. Meanwhile, Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, left the London Clinic after a 13-night stay following an undisclosed surgery. Her recovery will continue at home in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, with Prince William seen visiting her during the hospital stay.
The King’s hospitalization was for a benign prostate problem, a common condition in older men, and his “corrective procedure” was made public to encourage awareness about prostate health. About one in three men over 50 experience symptoms of an enlarged prostate, a gland located just below the bladder. The NHS reported increased searches on enlarged prostates, with King Charles III pleased that his diagnosis is positively impacting public health awareness.
