PM Modi Commends Surge in Indian Patents, Highlights Achievements in Innovation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the remarkable growth of Indian innovators, stating that the number of patents has surged from around 4,000 in 2014 to nearly 50,000 today. Speaking at the convocation ceremony of Bharathidasan University, PM Modi drew inspiration from Tamil verses and emphasized the creation of a brave new world, echoing the university’s motto.

Acknowledging the prowess of Indian youth, Modi highlighted their contributions, stating that they are already shaping a world aligned with the university’s motto. He proudly noted India’s global presence in scientific achievements, including missions like Chandrayaan, and the substantial increase in patents from 2014 to the present.
PM Modi underscored that India’s “humanity scholars” are effectively showcasing the country’s narrative worldwide. Furthermore, he praised the continuous success of Indian musicians and artists, bringing home international awards.
In his address, Modi emphasized the significance of education by stating that giving back to society for a better nation is the true purpose of education.
